Located in a traditional Balinese village at Nyambu, Bali, overlooking a creek in a deep ravine below. The adjacent property has a family Balinese temple that was given height priority. Vanishing Villa was cut into the hill side and given a flat concrete roof covered with grass. The villa is designed as a holiday retreat, for an overseas family. Off-form concrete, natural stone tiled floor and local timber door / windows are the predominant materials used in construction.
